Yosemite National Park – WOW! After spending the night in a campground by the side of a river, we drove up and around the windy road to Yosemite Village. It was a pretty drive but nothing special until we rounded this bend and in front of us was this massive rock face with snowed capped tips and cascading waterfalls. I think we both said – WOW! We arrived in the village early in the morning with brilliant blue skies and sunshine. The village is basically surrounded by these rock faces, waterfalls and snow. Whichever way you looked you had this spectacular scenery, almost a little surreal. As Rich said, it was difficult to comprehend the size of these rock faces. We ended up staying four nights. Luke helped Rich with the camp fire most nights and one night we had pizza and beer in the village. It was near an outdoor amphitheatre, which Luke adopted as his stage and entertained us with ‘Wiggle’ songs.
